Unlike brokerage accounts, investment activities, dividends, and earnings in a 401(k) account are not taxable until you withdraw your assets.
Any 401(k) contribution information is reported on your W2.
If you didn't withdraw any assets, you will not have any tax documents.
If you withdrew your assets, a 1099-R will be mailed on January 31st the year after your distribution occurred. You will use this form when filing your taxes for that year.
The 1099-R will be mailed by the custodian who holds your OctaveWealth account assets, Matrix Trust Company. They must also provide the information reported on your 1099-R to the IRS.
